One Only God: General Baptists believe in one eternal, infinite, almighty God who is merciful, righteous, and the Creator of all things—both visible and invisible. This God is revealed in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, yet remains one God1.
Creation and Fall: God created humanity in His image, but the first man fell into sin. Through the promised seed of Jesus Christ, all are made righteous and alive. However, by nature, humans are still born in sin and need redemption1.
The Holy Spirit: General Baptists affirm the Holy Spirit as a divine person, equal with God the Father and God the Son. The Spirit convicts of sin, bears witness to the gospel, and is the agent of the new birth2.
Christian Living: General Baptists emphasize faithful Christian living through serving in the local church, prayer, witnessing, tolerance, kindness, and giving glory to God
Here at First general Baptist Irving our mission is to bring the Gospel 0f Jesus Christ to Irving.
We were established in 1982 by members of the General Baptist Association.
It has always will be our intention to carry on our Charter Members goals of spreading the Word Of God
to the masses.

Knowing who you are determines your continual victory and success as a Christian. The world will consider you peculiar if you serve God. If you declare Christ as your Savior. You are no longer walking in the dark you ate now in the light. Walk accordingly without wavering or stumbling . Being a Christian is more than a way to live it is lifestyle and choice. The Word of God have thrown light on who Jesus Christ has made Christians: a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a unique people.

Well looks like that summer is here. I know the calendar tells us so. However, the weather itself let's us know. We'll this is the same way with the Lord. Yes, the Word of God tells me He is alive and real. However, I have personal evidence that He exist and is my Savior and I am His child. This comes through a relationship with Him and the Holy Spirit. Don't let the devil enter in and fill you with doubt. We are looking forward to our 5th Sunday Fellowship. Please join us this Sunday 30th of June. Feast on the Word then on some good food. Transportation available
Believers in Christ Jesus should never look down on themselves and neither should they allow anyone to demean them. You have to be glad of who the Lord Jesus Christ has made you. You have been selected, made a priest, sanctified, and made special to declare the praises of Christ, who has called you into His marvelous light. When you live a lifestyle of who Christ Has called you to be, you will show the praises of Christ by your lifestyle. On the other hand, if you live like you are dejected, good for nothing, and sinful, while living a life that lacks purpose, you are reproaching the name of Christ, and He will not be happy with you.
